Once again, Otto Wulf GmbH & Co. KG was nominated to tow newly built hulls for the German Navy. The hulls NB 8010 and NB 8020 were towed by our WULF 5 from the Western Baltija Shipbuilding shipyard in Klaipeda, Lithuania, through the Kiel Canal to the Fr. Fassmer shipyard in Berne, Germany. These identical hulls, each 50 meters in length, will be outfitted at the Fr. Fassmer shipyard before being commissioned as survey vessels for the Bundeswehr’s Technical Center for Ships and Naval Weapons (WTD 71).
The client, Fr. Fassmer, expressed their gratitude for the excellent cooperation and the timely delivery of the hulls in early October and mid-November 2022.
